Did you know there is such a thing as decorating your house for Easter? Cute little bunnies, adorably styled vignettes (yep, I said vignettes – a fancy way of saying you put a few things of interest in a group to create a focal point and voila!), buntings and even twig trees adorned with elegantly painted egg shaped baubles. Like seriously, where have I been and what rock have I been hiding under to not know that I can (and should!) go buy a bunch of décor that I’m going to enjoy for one week of the year? Any excuse is good for me to add to our already quite sizable, completely useless (but pretty) knick-knack collection.
For the last two weeks, Instagram and Pinterest feeds have been “choc-a-block” (see what I did there – Oh Easter, you’re my new favourite holiday!) with amazing inspiration and I couldn’t help myself. I caved in and sprinkled some Easter all up in this farmhouse. So sit back, grab a cuppa and if this whole Easter decorating is new to you too, live vicariously through me this year and enjoy our Easter Farmhouse edition photos (plus a few gorgeous inspiration pics you should probably pin for next year!).
Now bring on next week when all things bunny related go on sale – I’ll see you at the shops 😉
Basically, every flat surface in the place got a little bit of Easter thrust upon them:
